Walkup

A walkup is a building having two or more floors (usually not more than 4-5) with no elevator. Elevator

These types of buildings are usually three to six floors in height, dating from 1800s. Brownstones have a façade made out of large slabs of light-brown sand. Townhouses are somewhat similar to brownstones. They have similar height and are built in same period.
